On the way home from Dezirae’s surgery today she says in her ever sweet voice “Mommy, thank you for taking me to my surgeries and appointments.” Bless her sweet spirit!

Today was her 14th surgery since being diagnosed 2 years and 4 months ago!!

She asked how many it had been this morning so we figured it up! She tolerated her surgery well and is recovering nicely at home.

The surgeon was unable to lengthen her leg a full cm because her implant locked up and simply won’t expand anymore. He will be checking with the engineer to see if it has reached its maximum length or if there is another problem. If she grows taller they will need to shrink her implant length, add another link and then start the lengthening process over.

Please continue to pray for healing for Dezirae and all of her fellow warriors! Also strength and healing for all of our/their families!
