Saturday was a waiting day. Travis and I swapped out for about 24 hours. Yesterday despite Dezirae still having a small area of lung collapsed the fellow on call decided to take her chest tube off suction.
More waiting…..her 4 hour X-ray showed the pneumothorax(collapsed lung) had grown in size. Late last night she was hooked back up to suction. Again we wait. This mundane game of waiting is the reason I haven’t updated 😉
