This may be a touch boring but I want to jot it down so I can look back and remember!

We have a big support system here with us! The hundreds(maybe thousands) praying for us all over the world is a indescribable comfort!

Dezirae is about to go into surgery! Her surgeon is a skilled and very kind man. We have been warned that the breathing tube used for lung surgery is much larger than a normal tube used in surgery. The cool thing is that, they can isolate and inflate/deflate each lung separately! However it causes a majorly sore throats making it harder to breath.

The plan is to place 2 IVs once she drifts off to sleep with a mask. She will also get an epidural for pain that can stay in place for up to 5 days. They plan to insert a chest tube as well. She will also need oxygen for a while. We have tried to prepare her that she will feel covered in tubes etc when she wakes up!
