The cough that Dezirae has had for weeks is improving now that she has been on antibiotics for her pneumonia! Praise the Lord!!
Unfortunately as the pneumonia breaks up it causes irritation in her lung and she is experiencing a great deal of pain. Please pray that this pain would just vanish! She will need to improve greatly by Thursday in order to proceed with surgery.
Dezirae has always been a very strong girl! At 1 year old she could carry a gallon of milk in one hand! She has only required one dose of pain medicine total for her two surgeries, and yet this pain has brought her to tears repeatedly!
Her surgery is scheduled for 0730 this Friday! I will do my best to keep you all updated on surgery day!
